Fun Waiting Time

Our library has been recently remodled. The kids section is fantastic! The furniture, check out station, bathrooms, etc are all "kid sized". While we were waiting for the "Library School" to start, the librarian showed us the two new computers that just arrived for kids. M. and J. spent time playing on the computers and then joined A. on the super fun climbing blocks. A. didn't want to leave the climbing blocks so I will try to get him on the computer next week:)

The teacher showing A. how to paint with the glue

I took this picture through the window. J. loved spreading the glue

I took this picture as I was getting ready to walk out of the room. J. kept looking back at me

J. and A. are now able to go to the library class designated for the big kids (3-5 year olds). This is the class that M. has been going to for two years. I have been talking about this with J. and A. for weeks now and today was the big day! J. and A. both sat through the stories (with a little wiggling) and they both participated in making a craft. This particular class is set up so that parents/caretakers leave the room in order to get the kids used to separating and get them ready for a classroom type setting. All three boys did very well and as usual, were three of the best behaved kids in the class:). There are windows so parents/caretakers can see how the children are doing so the boys didn't know that I was spying on them.

Daytime Fun

The three of them are really starting to have a lot of fun together. Here they are playing "Cars" and having races with each other.

Library School

J pretending to be a robot

Picking his spot under the tree to read

See the basket? Each time, the teachers bring new things in the basket. Today they had things that made noise. A loved saying the items as they showed the kids.

J's birthday! He was so shy when they sang to him but he was sure proud of his certificate!
